Seenai Residential School for mentally retarded people started on 23" April 1995, in Uzhavoor Grama Panchayath.  At present 60 trainees are there though the number was only 8 in the beginning. 

Aims:

The rehabilitation of mentally retarded (Challenged) people is

the main target of the institution. The parents of the students and family members are to be made aware of their situations, job-oriented programmes for the mothers, self-employment for aged and disabled are other motifs. A rehabilitation centre for such people are also included in our projects.

Suresh T.R. is a senior Indian artist, curator, and the Founder & Director of Prussian Blue Art Hub, Kochi. Born in 1969 in Cherthala, Kerala, he began his artistic training under renowned watercolour artist Sri. K. K. Varrier and later studied Axiometry and Colour Theory under master painter Sri. Mahindra.

With over four decades of involvement in art, Suresh T.R. has presented numerous solo and group exhibitions across India and abroad. His works are held in private collections in several countries, including the UK, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, USA, Brazil and UAE. He has created more than 1,200 portraits for private and government collections worldwide.

He has also participated in national art camps and cultural projects with the Government of Kerala and various organisations. Through Prussian Blue Art Hub, he continues to promote art education, exhibitions, workshops, artist collaborations and opportunities for emerging artists.
